Dr. Stinnet came to Telluride to build the kind of dental practice he always wanted to run: one where patients feel comfortable from the moment they walk in, where nobody feels rushed, and where the care is genuinely good.

He grew up with a background in the sciences, earning a B.S. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Michigan State University before going on to complete his D.D.S. at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. In the years since, he has focused on making sure his patients never have to white-knuckle their way through an appointment. He has advanced training in painless local anesthesia and oral conscious sedation, and he uses those tools regularly, not just for complex procedures but for anyone who needs a little extra support to feel at ease.

He is a Faculty Club Member at the Spear Dental Academy, one of the most respected continuing education programs in dentistry, which means he is consistently learning from some of the best clinicians in the country and bringing that back to Telluride.

When a case calls for a specialist, like an implant or a root canal, Dr. Stinnet coordinates with a trusted network of local clinicians and stays involved throughout. His job, as he sees it, is to quarterback his patients' care from start to finish.

Outside the office, he is a husband, a dad, and a genuine fan of everything Telluride has to offer.
