We accept most major insurance plans and offer flexible financing options including CareCredit. If you are not sure whether we take your plan, call us before your visit and we will check.
We also work with patients who are paying out of pocket and are happy to walk you through what to expect cost-wise before any treatment begins.

Dr. Stinnet believes that good dentistry starts long before anyone picks up an instrument. It starts with listening. He takes the time to understand what you want from your care, what your concerns are, and what has or has not worked for you in the past. Treatment comes after that conversation, not before it.
His approach is conservative by nature. He explains what he finds, walks you through your options honestly, and never recommends treatment that is not necessary. If you leave an appointment confused about your plan, that is a problem he takes personally.
Scott studied Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at Michigan State University before earning his D.D.S. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. He has pursued advanced training in sedation dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and orthodontics, and is a Faculty Club Member at Spear Dental Academy, where he stays current on comprehensive and functional care.
Telluride families and visitors have trusted him with their care. He intends to keep earning that.

Visiting from out of town?
Many of our patients are from the surrounding San Juan community, like Montrose & Ridgway (most of our staff reside here, too). The drive is about as beautiful as it gets.
Anyhow, please know that we appreciate your time. If someone is willing to drive an hour to pay us a visit, just know that we will make it worth your time!

and 50 minutes from Ridgway.
